MSGC offers a number of funding opportunities for students and educators.
Faculty at MSGC-Affiliated Universities
MSGC offers faculty up to $5,000 funding for research seed grants, community college collaborations, and a suite of programs with a focus on education – Pre-College Education, Public Outreach, Teacher Training, and Augmented Support.
MSGC offers funding for a wide variety of programs for both individual students and student groups working at MSGC-affiliated universities. Research fellowships are available for undergraduate (including community college) and graduate students. Scholarships and NASA internships are also sponsored. Funding is available, as well, for student groups engaging in hands-on experiential learning.
MSGC provides funding opportunities for schools and school districts as well as for individual teachers. K12 schools and school districts are eligible to apply for funding for a variety of educational programs – PreCollege Education, Public Outreach, Teacher Training, and Augmented Support. The MSGC K12 Educator Incentive Program is designed to help teachers attend STEAM-oriented conferences and workshops and purchase curricular supplies for innovative instructional initiatives.
MSGC provides the opportunity for organizations, such as museums and nonprofits with educational focuses, to apply for funding to support educational programming that occurs in settings outside the traditional classroom. The program categories are PreCollege Education, Public Outreach, Teacher Training, and Augmented Support.
